In the 21st century, Smart Cities is becoming more and more important. This program allow students to plan their infrastructure and build up the basic models of Smart Cities (Homes) by Micro:bit. The students will understand the importance of Smart Cities and how Smart City’s technologies benefit society. The course encourages students to design daily life technological products using different types of sensor technologies.

Understand the basic concept of sustainability and how technology sustains the city’s development

Learn basic Micro:bit operation

Understand the basic operation principles for different sensors

Experience the future sensor technologies and the theory behind it

Build Smart Cities and Home model according to different themes using Micro:bit

Explore different Smart City topics such as automation, security, home entertainment, health, and energy management using different sensor technologies (IoT)

Develop a group project related to smart cities or homes
